Daxeon's chat filters are designed to protect your community from scams, spam, and impersonation attempts by automatically scanning messages in real time. These tools help you enforce trust and safety without requiring constant manual moderation.

This section explains how to configure and manage the various filters available, including:

• Blocking unauthorized crypto addresses (ADA, EVM, BTC)

• Filtering unapproved domains and Discord invites

• Preventing impersonation via reserved names and protected avatars

• Controlling where filtered messages are allowed

Messages Posted by Apps

Daxeon skips messages from bots and apps that your server added, since you chose those. An app a member installed to their own account is treated differently. Your server never approved it, so Daxeon filters its responses like the member's own messages. The log entry names the member who ran the command and the app that posted the message, and the ban, kick and flag buttons act on the member.

To stop members using their own apps in your server at all, turn off the Use External Apps permission for @everyone under Server Settings, Roles.

Permissions

Every chat filter uses the same permissions. Daxeon needs View Channel and Read Message History in the channels you want filtered, Manage Messages to delete what it catches, and Send Messages with Embed Links in your log channel.

A channel that denies View Channel to @everyone is hidden from Daxeon as well, unless the Daxeon role is added to that channel. Daxeon cannot filter a channel it cannot see.
