# /redeem

Redeem a Daxeon gift on your server.

Redeems a gift on the server you run it in. The server gets the gifted tier for a year from the day you redeem. Paste the code from the gift link, or paste the whole link.

## Usage

```
/redeem code:<gift code or link>
```

If you have never signed in to the Daxeon website, Daxeon replies with a button to the gift's page instead. Sign in with Discord there and pick your server to finish redeeming.

If the server already runs a gift at the same tier, the new gift adds another year to it. Daxeon refuses a gift when:

* the gift was already used or was refunded
* the server already has a paid subscription
* the server runs a gift at a different tier
* the server's current gift still has more than a year left, so redeem it closer to the end date

## Permissions

**Manage Server** -- Requires the Discord Manage Server permission, or Administrator, or server ownership. Daxeon roles do not grant it.
